On Tennessee vs. Kent State

No. 7 Tennessee should pummel Kent State on Saturday night. This game will be about the Vols getting as many young guys an opportunity to play as possible. Specifically, this could be the opportunity where five-star true freshman Mike Matthews stars at wideout in the second half or four-star freshman Edwin Spillman stars at linebacker in the second half. The starting wideouts were the story against Chattanooga coming out, but I think the story coming out of this game against the Golden Flashes will be the promise of the Vols blue-chip freshman at wide receiver and at linebacker.

On Memphis Vs. Florida State

Chase and Matt debate how this game is ultimately going to go. Florida State started 0-3 once in our lifetime in 2021 after a drubbing to Wake Forest. With Memphis coming to FSU this weekend, the line is only +6.5 for Memphis. The Tigers have College Football Playoff aspirations while the Seminoles season is over. Indeed, this feels like a huge moment for the Tigers to burst on the scene as the G5 favorite with Seth Henigan and company beating a mediocre ACC team like Florida State on Saturday.

On Alabama vs. Wisconsin

Chase and Matt debate how this game is going to ultimately go, too. Both think Alabama is going to win, but Chase sees this as being a brutal loss for the Badgers. Wisconsin has one of the worst offenses in the country to start the season. A lot of people are going to overreact to the Crimson Tide struggling against a good South Florida team. Tyler Van Dyke has not been a good college quarterback in years and this Wisconsin team is in for trouble here. I think this game looks a lot like Michigan vs. Texas last weekend where Alabama absolutely smokes Wisconsin 48-10 or something similar. Luke Fickell is just 10-6 at this point, and the Badgers have a strong history of 10-plus win seasons. This is going to be a tough loss for his team and the vibes in Madison.
